Hi there!
Have you ever felt like you’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Life can be heavy, complicated, and sometimes messy. But you don’t have to navigate it alone. I believe that all humans are beautifully complex and deserve a space to be seen, heard, and valued. I prioritize creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore thoughts, feelings, and identities openly and authentically.
My approach to therapy is rooted in humanistic, psychoanalytic, trauma-informed, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) frameworks. I am also a gender-affirming therapist and practice from a sex and kink-positive perspective, honoring all aspects of sexuality and experience. Whether you’re seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, or just navigating life, we will work collaboratively to create a therapeutic plan that aligns with your needs. I’ve also had the opportunity to complete the first level of Gottman Method training, enhancing my skills in evidence-based couples therapy.
In our work together, I aim to create a space where we can explore not just your personal challenges, but also the ways oppressive systems, like the patriarchy, racism, and socioeconomic inequality, impact your mental wellness. I recognize the importance of addressing these inequalities and power dynamics to make space for the diverse experiences of all individuals. I’m not afraid to bring a little humor and lightness into our sessions as well. Sometimes, a good laugh can be just as healing as a breakthrough moment of insight. Let’s work together to cultivate more self-awareness, resilience, and healing in your life!
If I’m not in the office, I’m out walking my pug named Jeff, playing video games, reading, spending time with my family, taking care of my plants, and enjoying the city!
